...since I wrote anything, or did a shoot of someone other than myself or my sister. I just have not had any time to plan and execute anything, but summer's coming and I have several things planned (I'll be sending in my best work as college app portfolio pieces this fall, so I have to have some really good stuff) including a collaborative project with a friend who is a brilliant composer; we have complementary synesthesia, we call it: I get impressions and images based on music, and she writes her music based on poetry and art, so we're going to try a collection of works influenced by each other. I don't know how/if it will turn out, but she's amazing and I'm more than willing to give it a try
At the moment all my time is eaten up by studying for exams and the like; I'm taking some of my first final IB exams this year, so I'll be done with math and Spanish until college. Any time the lack of those classes might allow me, however, will be occupied by internal assessments and the Extended Essay (thank goodness we can choose our own topics).
I guess this is a journal to explain why I've not been posting stuff? In short: no time. At least, no time for anything good.
Here's some art, because I love to feature stuff. I like to be featured and I figure it's nice to spread the good feelings around. Anyway, while going through my faves looking for stuff to feature, I noticed that the overwhelming majority of my favorites are very cold--in color schemes, in themes, often in subject as well. But it didn't match my mood (because the south thinks that summer begins in March and my air conditioning is currently off, for some reason), so...here are some warmer-toned pieces that are, well, pretty. Why else do we fave anything?
